National Impact Award – National Sweetpotato Collaborators Group

The National Impact Award will be made for major contributions and accomplishments to the sweetpotato industry. The award consists of a plaque and a $500 honorarium supported by the Lamb Weston Potato Company and the National Sweetpotato Collaborators Group.

Evaluation

The award will be made for discoveries, techniques, inventions, or materials that increase yield, improve quality, value-added food products, food safety, or environmental quality.

The focus will be on major accomplishments that have been adopted by stakeholders.

Nominators are required to be members of the National Sweetpotato Collaborators Group.

National Sweetpotato Collaborators Group Awards Committee members are eligible to be a nominator for this award.

Nominee

National Sweetpotato Collaborators Group Awards Committee members are eligible to be a nominee for this award but must recuse themselves from committee action due to conflict of interest.

Nominees are required to be active or previously active members of National Sweetpotato Collaborators Group.

Nominees must be living at the time of their nomination.

Former recipients of this Award are not eligible.
