The 2024 National Sweetpotato Collaborators Group Annual Meeting will take place January 19-20, 2024 in conjunction with the National Sweetpotato Convention in New Orleans, LA.  Plan to arrive on Thursday, January 18th as the meeting will begin first thing on Friday, January 19th. The meeting will end on Saturday, January 20th in the afternoon allowing for evening departures or you can choose to stay for the National Sweetpotato Convention.

Hotel

The meeting will be held at the Royal Sonesta Hotel in New Orleans, LA and a block of rooms has been reserved for the group separate from the National Sweetpotato Convention at a special rate ($239/per night plus taxes). Please refer to the program for specific rooms and venues in the hotel to be used during the event.

Please book your hotel room here as soon as possible to take advantage of the special rate  since we only have a limited number of rooms at this rate.  In addition, the meeting is being held  in conjunction with the National Sweetpotato Convention, so alternative hotel accommodations will fill up quickly.

Wireless internet is complimentary in the lobby, public areas, and within guest rooms. Additional internet packages can be purchased for larger data uses.

On-site and Valet parking are available.  The hotel has a covered garage.  Valet parking is $43.00 per day.  All fees are subject to change or additional taxes.

There are additional hotels at walking distance from the headquarters hotel that can be used for additional lodging as needed, however, we do not have a block of rooms in these hotels so pricing may vary depending on regular room availability.

Airport

The Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY), is located approximately 16 miles away from the hotel.  Hotel ground transportation is not available.
